Kogeto has announced its newest product, Dot, a video accessory for 4 iPhones. Dot is actually a special optical device that fits on the iPhone lens to produce 360-degree views. The results of videos taken can be uploaded to Facebook or Twitter, or share it with others by using the services of a web-based streaming Kogeto.
Dot Users will be able to download Looker, companion iPhone application from the App Store. This download allows users to browse and share video panorama. When two or more Dot are in one location, Looker can link together with video from the users of Dot. Looker Customers can then view the event from various perspectives.
Basic version
of Looker will be provided free of charge, but the price for a more complete version of the feature has not been given so far.
Dot is available for pre-order for $ 100, although until now its availability is also not mentioned.
Besides Dot, Kogeto Lucy has also developed, panoramic video camera for the education market.
