For starters, the high school level books will be available through the iBookstore for a maximum of $14.99. The publishers who provide books to present their publications to the iPad, among others, Pearson, McGraw Hill and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt.
To create interactive books and iBooks 2 for the iPad, Apple also introduced the Author iBooks. Mac application provides a wide range of tools to help anyone create and publish interactive digital books for the iBooks store. iBooks 2 application is very similar to iWork applications and also includes a gallery support, 3D animation, video and interactive images. The users can also include custom or HTML5 Javascript code into eBooks by Author iBooks.
